Position Summary The IOT Platform Engineer is a key role in the development of the Oil & Gas (O&G) domain’s IOT platform. The engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the platform to ensure its robustness and scalability to serve the O&G domain’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the IOT platform for O&G domain
• Develop scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant system architecture
• Create and maintain a continuous integration and deployment pipeline
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Assist in the development of API’s and microservices
• Design and implement data pipelines and data architectures
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and implement security protocols
• Analyze and optimize system performance
• Develop automated tests to ensure system quality
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in software development and/or IOT platform engineering
• Expertise in developing and managing IOT platforms
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and SQL
• Working knowledge of API and microservices development
• Understanding of security protocols, such as OAuth and SSL
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of data architectures and data pipelines
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
