We are currently seeking an experienced Office Technician for our fast-paced Optical Service Center located in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to join our TEAM!

Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm

Minimum Starting Wage: From $18 - $20/hour

Job Summary

Accurately transfer order information from Walman internal and external customers to the Surface Lab and AR Room for processing.

Position Specifics:

• Responsible for managing the combobulator and solving issues with problematic jobs.
• Interface with the IT Department on system issues and updates to the Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical manufacturing software.
• Communicate with Walman Branches and/or external customers to make recommendations and solutions to resolve any issues with jobs.
• Receive and cost sub-contracted vendor work into the DVI computer system.

Experience/Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; plus two years of relevant work experience.
• Background should include optical industry knowledge and developed customer service skills.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic PC/Computer skills are necessary.
• Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical manufacturing software experience a major plus.
