Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring - join our team as Commercial Treasury Management Specialist! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and accomplished financial institution. This is a flex / hybrid position: 3 days/week work from home, 2 days/week in Gurnee, IL corporate office (Lake Forest in 2024).
As the Commercial Treasury Management Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing superior service and support to our members, commercial lenders, and branch staff for all commercial deposit products and services. You’ll assist in the development of products and will promote products including Analysis Checking, Cash Management Products, Online and Mobile Banking Platforms, Remote Deposit Services, Merchant Services, and other non-loan business member offerings.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Product development and market monitoring to ensure current offerings are keeping pace with the market. You’ll ensure we have the technology to deploy competitively priced business services to our members.
- Develop procedures and training materials that will be utilized in training front line staff. You’ll enable them to educate our members on commercial products and services.
- Promote cash management, online and mobile banking, remote deposit, pay and checking products and services to new and perspective business members. You’ll execute on business development activities, promoting commercial products and services, just for businesses.
- Visit with business members to perform regulatory site audits, equipment installations such as remote deposit capture scanners, and to further develop relationships.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related-preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in cash/treasury management.
- Experience in compliance related to business banking.
- Strong operational background.
- Business development and sales experience; a book of commercial business is preferred.
- Data gathering and analysis experience; ability to collect, consolidate, and use relevant information to make business recommendations.
- Problem solving skills; ability to identify problems of varying complexities and find effective solutions.
- Member/Customer focus; ability to put members first and resolve member concerns resulting in a high-level of member satisfaction.
- Relationship building skills; proactively collaborate with departments across the organization.
