Job description
Cornerstone Family Practice is looking to add a skilled, organized and highly motivated Medical Assistant to our healthcare team! Our office offers a positive workplace culture, with an "every member of the team matters" mentality.
Clinical duties include:
- Taking patient medical histories
- Recording patient vital signs
- Preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during examinations.
- Administer vaccinations
- Process prescriptions to be filled at the patient’s preferred pharmacy.
- Perform EKG's and PFT's
- Urine analysis
- Perform non-invasive screening tests
Qualifications include:
- Completion of a medical assistant program (CMA)
- Experience with Electronic Health Records systems
- Attention to detail highly organized
- Interpersonal, communication and computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
