Caribe Marina is looking for a full-time employee to captain a 65 foot Bonner built boat as a charter fishing headboat. Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate boat in a safe manner adhering to all Coast Guard safety regulations placing an emphasis on customer and employee safety.
• Ensure customers have a fantastic experience while fishing creating repeat business and referrals.
• Manage all aspects of fishing experience including equipment maintenance, and boat cleanliness.
• Hire and lead a crew of deckhands placing an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine maintenance on boat and engines in a timely manner to ensure equipment is kept to the highest standards.
• Liaison with Coast Guard to conduct all Coast Guard inspections, as well as keep up with all related documents and requirements.

Additional duties may also include:

• Assisting Marina with charter fishing marketing.
• Coordinating with deckhands to obtain video of trips for marketing efforts.
• Creating schedule to maximize charter fishing opportunities for guests.

Highly sought after candidates will possess the required qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of 50 Ton USCG Masters License.
• Minimum of 10 years charter fishing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years operating charter fishing head boat.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• General knowledge of diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Positive Attitude.
• Team-player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
