Job description

A Beverage Receiver is responsible for receiving, stocking and organizing Wine products while providing outstanding guest service. Reports to the General Manager of Beverage and Beverage Manager.

• Stocks, rotates, merchandises and faces product according to department procedures
• Receives product deliveries, ensures order and invoice accuracy and notes discrepancies
• Organizes delivery of beverages by destination of location (i.e. Terra, Pizza Pasta, Wine Store)
• Checks to ensure all Wine items are merchandised attractively as per quality standards
• Ensures all items are rotated by First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Maintains stock level at all three restaurants and that organizational standards and visual excellence are upkept.
• Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards
• Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information
• Communicates Wine needs, adjustments, and problems to Wine manager promptly and efficiently
• Maintains a safe and cleanly work environment in accordance with department, state and federal regulations
• Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and packaging disposal as necessary
• Works with colleagues as a team; maintains a positive attitude and a willingness to help others
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
