Assistant Manager will support the General Manager and help lead the restaurant at our Nashville Location.

They will help open and close the restaurant, train team members, assist customers, manage inventory and par lists, and ensure all food and service meet our standard of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, taking pride in operational excellence
• Hold regular one-one meetings with staff to discuss their performance and help them continually improve
• Train and coach the team and ensure all process and procedures are followed
• Support the General Manager in creating the weekly labor schedule and manage employee requests off
• Perform inventory on all dry goods and perishables to maintain ordering system
• Manage the front of house line during operations, especially lunch and dinner rush, making sure the team is giving 5 star service and address any issues that come up
• Ensure all food served to customers meets our standard of excellence
• Lead by example by living the core values and treating our team the way we want them to treat the customer

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience managing hourly employees and leadership positions within a restaurant
• Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing team and act independently
• Positive attitude and passion for making customers happy
• Ability/flexibility to work 40+ hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays (Radish is closed all major holidays)
