Under the general direction of the Director of Annual and Leadership Giving, the Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving or Leadership Gift Officer “LGO” is a front-line fundraising professional responsible for annual solicitation and cultivation ofannual giving households.
The LGO will play a key role in meeting the objectives of a growing Annual Giving program and is responsible for securing gifts at the $1,000+ level. They will accomplish this through in-person and virtual visits, phone calls, and select opportunities to engage with prospects while they visit campus during the year. The Assistant Director is a highly self-motivated individual and will make use of multiple channels of outreach to ensure members of the donor pool are being reached and engaged. They will also be responsible for helping to raise the sights of current leadership donors and moving them up the leadership giving levels to $2,500 or $5,000 annually, to create a stronger pipeline of supporters. This person will work closely and collaboratively with the entire Advancement team to assure fundraising opportunities are maximized.

Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills
- This highly energetic and self-motivated individual will be responsible for identifying, qualifying,

- Attend events and represent Nazareth and the Institutional Advancement team in a
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years in Development, Alumni Affairs, Sales, Higher Education, Prospect Research, Marketing or related fields.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Outstanding work organization, project management and time management skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally and ability to work outside regular business hours on some nights/weekends.
- Capability to work at a fast pace and stay motivated.
- Experience in personally soliciting gifts is highly preferred
- Strong communication, customer service and active listening skills.
- Ability to develop strategy for a large group of individuals, utilizing all available resources.
- Digitally and technically savvy.
- Attention to detail and highly motivated to work independently.
