GENERAL SHERMAN TREE, SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK, CA :: We enjoyed a day in Sequoia National Park, starting with General Sherman, the world's largest tree (by volume)! It's 275 feet tall and 36.5 feet wide at its base! Its largest *branch* is seven feet wide! The General has lived 2000 years, and the experience of being right next to its majestic scale is truly awesome and humbling.
