FIRA, SANTORINI, GREECE :: Our most adventurous day in Santorini was hiking from Fira to Oia along the rim of the caldera. Seven miles of red and black volcanic rock, winding paths through little villages, and nonstop views of the Aegean. At times the exposed cliffs and slippery volcanic rock made the hike feel pretty treacherous, especially in the heat, so we were very thankful for the little cafes along the way to refill our water and take a break. Tough hike, but absolutely worth it for the unique and stunning scenery!
