BLACK ROCK LODGE, SAN IGNACIO, BELIZE :: Black Rock Lodge is the #1 birding hotspot in Belize, according to eBird and The Cornell Lab of Ornithology. We did a couple early morning bird walking tours with the expert guides, and our little birder’s journal was filled with dozens of new species! When we weren’t spotting any birds, we were just glad to soak in the jungle scenery. I’ll share some bird photos in the next post.
