UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE, WA :: The kiddos spent the day at the UW STEM Expo, learning about the university’s various programs. Afterwards, I took them on a little walking tour of campus, including the Quad, fountain, and library. As a proud Coug, I could see right through UW’s shameless attempts to lure unsuspecting students to their campus, but I have to admit, the kids seemed pretty impressed.
I do some volunteer work for UW-Bothell and sit on the UW-Tacoma (SET) School of Engineering and Technology board if there are any questions. I won’t comment on the shameless attempts from the UW Seattle campus… but they do have a pretty good program on this side of the mountains.
