AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS :: Landed in sunny Amsterdam after a 10-hour flight and powered through the entire day to beat the jet lag. We fell in love with the countless canals, the beautiful buildings, and the energy of the city! After an entertaining and informative boat tour, we finally retired to our amazing Airbnb.
I was NEVER bored for the entire 8 years I lived there and The Hague. Of course I avoided the canal rings in Ams like the plague bc of tourists hahahah Did you get the chance to visit Vondelpark? I lived down in that part town to the west of the park
Maggie Shelton We might check out Vondelpark tomorrow. Our rental is near the corner of Bilderdijkstraat and Kinkerstraat. I’m not sure what the neighborhood is called? Oud-West? Maybe close to where you were?
(Thought I responded but can’t find it so posting again) I lived on Overtoom and often shopped on Kinkerstraat. Dated a guy on Kinkerstraat for a year! Overtoom is a block off the west side of vondelpark. I cycled through it every day to/from work.
