OnsiteThe Watch Engineer supervises the operation of all Powerhouse equipment. The Watch Engineer must be able to operate high pressure boilers gas turbines, chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors. The Watch Engineer should have a background in maintenance and reliability and be prepared to perform and direct maintenance staff to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment while always maintain regulatory compliance.
Onsite:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Operation and Maintenance of all Powerhouse equipment.
- Ensure Powerhouse equipment is operated and maintained safety and within regulatory requirement.
- Work with Maintenance, Engineering, Supervision and Contractor’s to ensure a safe, compliant, and reliable operation of all equipment.
- Operate and maintain all equipment required to satisfy customer needs.
- Work with all staff to minimize energy consumption.
- Utilize Computerized Control and Maintenance Systems.
- Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Operate electrical generators and support systems.
Qualifications /Experience Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of related experience
- "U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of Boilers, Gas Turbines, chillers, absorbers, electric chillers, and air compressors.
- Experience directing others in the operation and maintenance of Powerhouse Equipment and Systems.
- Experience with developing maintenance practices to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations of all powerhouse equipment and systems.
