Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner – Union Position

Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Janitorial Staff. As a janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Positions available: Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm

Tuesday through Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
