Warehouse Coordinator

As a flexible packaging manufacturer, INDEVCO Plastics designs and manufactures sustainable plastic films and bags that promote a circular economy. Our end markets range from beverage, processed food, and pet food, to building and construction, industrial salt and minerals, lawn, and garden. We work closely with packaging converters and packaging machinery manufacturers.

How you will perform the role*

Our warehouse coordinator will have interpersonal skills to collaborate with our warehouse, operations, and customer service teams. This position will monitor and control warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing, and coordinating the movement of supplies, products, and merchandise into and out of the warehouse. In this role, you will ensure the correct quantity and quality of items before they are to be released.

Job Responsibilities*

Coordinate transfers in and out of the warehouse, tracking all movements

• Make purchase requests, contract vendors, and ensure flow of goods
• Inventory all goods, including sorting, counting, and organizing, and accounting for loss
• Process orders and deliver, transfer, and maintain stock and goods
• Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting
• Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently around the warehouse and shipping facility
• Package inventory for safe shipping
• Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely
• Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues

Job Qualifications & Education*

High School diploma/GED required

• 5+ years of experience in the logistics field
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required
• At least 2 years of work experience in a warehouse setting
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in regulated or lean manufacturing industry
• Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Works well independently and has strong problem solving, time management, and organization skills
• Excellent people and process management skills

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
