Job description
  • Use a hand held RF scanner to manage and maintain inventory, material movements and transfer orders including inventory verification
  • Load and Unload Inbound and Out Bound deliveries and shipments of raw materials, supplies and finished goods
    • Receive deliveries and Stock (put away)material into inventory
    • Pick and Stage Materials for outbound shipments
    • Perform Material Inspections using necessary tools for all deliveries and shipments
    • Document Material Inspections for all deliveries and shipments using the RF scanner and necessary form(s)
    • Perform and Document Scheduled Inspections of Equipment, Work Areas or any other Required maintenance using the proper tools and forms
  • Provide materials needed for daily operations
    • Pick, and Stage Raw materials, ingredients and supplies to operations as needed to meet production schedule
    • Return unused materials from daily operations and put into stock and inventory
  • Collect finished goods from operations and put away into stock and inventory
  • Perform all material Transfer Orders associated with any physical movements
  • Verify and document product labels and identification such as BOLs, date and material codes, storage or handling units, etc. with each material movement
  • File all documents in the correct locations
  • Maintain FIFO rotation of materials
  • Follow GMP’s, PPE, Safety and Quality, Warehouse policies and procedures including maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse equipment and work/personal areas of the warehouse and facility
  • Report any safety, operational or equipment or material issues
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Be able to complete all necessary documentation in English
  • Be able to Use hands and fingers to handle materials and operate tools required.
  • Must be able to Walk, bend, stretch, kneel, push, pull, and reach, climb up and down stairs and be on your feet the majority of each shift.
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold and damp refrigerated (< 40 degrees F)
  • Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have previous PIV experience or be able to certify within 15 days.
