Attending Veterinarian - Clinvet USA

$140,000 Annually/Negotiable based on experience

Clinvet is seeking a full-time Attending Veterinarian for our Waverly, New York facility. As a USDA licensed, AAALAC accredited research facility, Clinvet is widely regarded as one of the leading animal health CRO’s globally. Our USA site is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region.

Primary Duties

As our Attending Veterinarian, you will ensure the well-being and clinical care of all colony and research animals on site. You will also handle the direct or Indirect oversight of all other members of Vet Services department. You will organize, delegate, and perform routine services that follow our Veterinary Care Program. The ideal candidate will form part of our global community of practice for vets, as well as manage day to day activities alongside other facility Veterinarians, Research personnel, Veterinary Technicians, and Animal Attendant personnel.

Minimum Experience/Qualification

• DVM (or equivalent), current practicing license, and USDA Accreditation or eligibility is preferred.
• One to three years of experience working in mixed animal practice is desired.
• Preferences made for GLP and GCP accreditation, research and animal lab institution experience, DACLAM boarded, and experience in USDA title 9 animal welfare requirements.
