Job description
Overview:
The UUA will function as Blueprint Solutions’ staff audiologist and be involved in all aspects of Blueprint Solutions’ business where audiological input is needed. The UUA will be part of the development team and provide design and functional requirements input, as well as software testing and verification for functionality having audiological content.
The UUA will report to development management.
Responsibilities:
The UUA will be involved in, but not limited to:
- Requirements gathering from staff and key users of Blueprint OMS for new feature
- Design and wireframing of user interface
- Functional specifications for new features
- Design of audiological data representations as mirrored by Noah
- Design and functional specifications of clinical data interpretations with the intent to provide recommended clinical diagnostics, including determination of ICDs
- Design and functional specifications of diagnostic wording for medical report generation.
- Design and functional specifications for medical recommendations based on diagnostics.
- Design and functional specifications for determining CPT codes based on clinical data.
- Design of clinical report templates.
- Working closely with instrumentation companies on integration solutions
- Participating in the testing and verification of new software
- Participating in the creation of user documentation and internal documentation
- Participating in the training of staff on audiology and speech-related subject matters
Other responsbilities:
In addition, the UUA will, from time to time, conduct user webinars related to audiology and speech.

The UUA will participate in the creation of educational video and other content.
Qualifications:
The UUA should have a background in user interface design and functional requirements gathering and generation. Must have a degree in audiology.
