Our Bellevue, WA office is seeking a Transportation Planner for various Roads + Highway and Sustainability projects. This position will report to the Northwest Area and Sector Leader, and will require 4 years of experience in related planning and design.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of various factors to evaluate projects: physical features, environmental considerations, circulation, movement of goods/ transportation, health and safety parameters, equity and social justice, sustainability, and community characteristics.
  • Physical arrangement of all resources/ space planning within a facility or campus, with the goal of arranging departments, work centers, equipment, and other amenities for the smoothest movement of work, people, materials, information.
  • Review access points, the location of buildings and their relationships, and circulation of personnel, vehicles, and goods – all with an eye toward recommendations ensuring that site organization makes the most efficient and effective use of physical resources on site for multiple project types.
  • Develop high quality reports, presentations, and communication materials to support project delivery. This could include experience with transportation analysis and spatial analysis software.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience for buildings-related design projects.
  • Professional Degree in Planning or Architecture (BPlan or BArch).
  • Registered Planner (AICIP), Architect (RA) / NCARB Certification preferred or P.E.
  • Experience generating work plans, project budgets, and scopes.
  • Experience generating and managing schedules.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and equity and social justice activities.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900 - $130,300 annually for this position and local market.
