Valiant Detox and Assessment Center is seeking a licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAC plus CAS) or provisionally licensed therapistto join our team of therapists, nurses, and substance use technicians at our Fort Lupton, CO location. The successful candidate will be a strong evaluator, group facilitator, and individual therapist with experience in co-occurring mental health and substance use treatment. We are searching for self-starters with initiative to help our team learn and grow within a fast-paced, withdrawal management, residential, and assessment center.

The Valiant Detox and Assessment Center relies on a team approach to helping individuals and families heal and thrive while dealing with a loved one’s substance use and/or mental health disorder. Our therapists use a multi-faceted approach to working with our clients and families. This includes clinical therapy work as well as comprehensive case management.

The person hired for this position will report to the Clinical Director at the Detox and Assessment Center

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate individual and group sessions
• Provide interventions for clients in need of motivation and acceptance of treatment follow-through after discharge from our facility
• Coordinate with our admissions team to pre-screen and assess for appropriate level of care using ASAM criteria
• Coordinate and communicate care with referral sources, multi-dimensional treatment team, families, and client’s support systemsith a medical and clinical team to perform comprehensive and in-depth assessments

• Maintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with all policies and procedures, communication, emergent concerns, and behavioral and safety plans or special monitoring.

Education and Other Employment Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or Higher and Licensure (preferred) or Provisional License Required.
• Experience with substance use and mental health treatment, preferably in a residential setting.
• Current Colorado LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, AND CAS
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable form of transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and provide references

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
