JOB SUMMARY

Under indirect supervision, the Recruiter is responsible for resourcing and recruiting qualified candidates for an Aerospace Manufacturing Company. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

· Assist in development of job descriptions for new positions and updating existing job descriptions when needed.

· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

· Post job postings and advertisement processes.

· Source applicants through various methods including advertising, agency vendors, job sites, career fairs, online platforms.

· Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

· Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

· Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

· Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and requesting salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

· Assist in the onboarding process prior to new hire orientation.

· Maintain Recruitment data.

· Attend offsite job fairs and recruitment events. Assist with the planning and implementation of onsite Job fairs.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

· At least four years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

· Manufacturing background highly preferred.

· Excellent ability to conduct and administer various kinds of interviews and selection methods respectively.

· Knowledge of skill assessment processes, applicant tracking systems, candidate management systems, and HR databases.

· Strong computer skills with an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person, over the telephone, and on the production floor.

Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone, and on the production floor.

Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of manufactured parts and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.

Other: May require frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting co-workers when required. Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite manufacturing duties. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
