2. Assist in setting up and breaking down of furniture, equipment and materials for events to ensure museum needs are met.
3. Assist in set up and breakdown of patio furniture for use by patrons in the breezeway and front plaza area including tables, chairs, and umbrellas.
4. Perform basic grounds keeping duties outside and around the building to ensure well maintained grounds. This includes the operation of various power tools such as pressure cleaner and power blower. Landscaping is not included, but removal of fallen trees limbs and garbage is part of the duties.
5. Assist NSU appointed trash pickup on a daily basis.
6. Assist maintenance department in maintaining inventory of museum supplies and ensure proper placement of paper products, soap, etc. for restrooms, and water for all drinking fountains.
7. Assist in distributing items received in the loading dock to ensure timely delivery to appropriate areas.
8. Report defects or deterioration of the facilities to supervisor to ensure building upkeep.
9. Assist with accompanying NSU technicians and outside vendors throughout the museum who arrive by appointment when needed and when available.

5. Ability to follow through and carry out assignments.
6. Problem solving skills and sound judgment.
7. Ability to understand and apply Museum and Departmental policies and procedures.
8. Knowledge of proper and safe use of tools, cleaning chemicals, paints, etc.
9. Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of tools, equipment and materials.
2. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch to gain access to equipment.
3. Handles a variety of hand and power tools.
6. Occasional exposure to wet and/or hot conditions.
7. Exposed to noise and vibration from operating machinery.
8. Must be able to lift any trade tools, material and equipment.
9. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
10. Must be able to reach overhead.
11. May be required to work in confined areas to access equipment.
