Job description
St. Anne's Credit Union is currently hiring part time ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) Associates for our Main Office.
Hours for the ITM position are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:15pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm.
The candidate must be able to work a rotation schedule of a combination of morning and evening hours, and Saturdays.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members through an on-screen, video experience at multiple locations. Must be comfortable utilizing new technology and possess strong communication skills to accurately complete transactions for customers. The employee will greet members, guide them through the new technology, process transactions and assist with any questions or concerns for customers. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to multitask; efficiently assisting customers utilizing the ITM while demonstrating knowledge of credit union’s products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Maintains a positive, professional appearance while communicating effectively through on-screen technology.
2. Provides highest level of service by greeting customers with warm welcoming tone while completing remote transactions including, but not limited to: properly identifying members, processing deposits, processing withdrawals, receiving loan payments, processing transfers between accounts, check cashing and resolving member concerns.
3. Maintain thorough knowledge of the credit unions products and procedures, while strongly advocating our digital channels and always educating members on the ease of these services.
4. Ability to recognize and resolve member issues promptly, utilizing sound decision making skills. Responsible for escalating more difficult situations to the branch associates/management and/or appropriate department.
5. Work with multiple software programs (teller and virtual) concurrently to complete all member transactions.
6. Prepares and processes documents completely and accurately for stop payments, currency transaction reports, eft error reports, etc…
7. Perform end of day balancing of transactions for multiple ITM locations, balancing the teller system against the virtual system. Research and resolve any out of balance issues.
8. Monitor ITM machines to ensure they are working properly, alerting management of any operating issues.
9. Must be able to work under moderate supervision.
10. Attends all meetings/trainings that are assigned or scheduled.
11. May assist with the training of newly hired ITM associates.
12. Adheres to all credit union policies, procedures and regulations to include
confidentiality and safeguarding member information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or its equivalent required. Some previous financial services experience preferred. Applicant must possess exceptional member relation and interpersonal skills. Applicant must be able to successfully complete teller, member service, and product knowledge training. Punctuality and consistent work attendance is required.
