- Plan unit/daily physical education lessons for K-6 students that are engaging and promote healthy habits by utilizing the EPEC curriculum
- Inventory, organize, and maintain all PE equipment
- Provide a positive learning environment that promotes positive attitudes and good sportsmanship
- Accommodate students based on specific needs as stated on their 504s/IEPs
- Coordinate, prepare, and facilitate state Fitness Testing for 5th graders
- Communicate instructional focus with administration and teachers to create instructional alignment
- Plan, organize, and facilitate student rallies, staff engagement activities, and family engagement opportunities.
- Perform related duties as assigned

Work as a Teacher, Special Assignment to assist the site Principal or other assigned supervisor in implementing and/or coordinating an identified program.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and three years of classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level.
