As a Tax Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive experience to develop strategies to assist our clients in solving their tax and business-related issues. The firm works with primarily real estate companies, closely held and family-owned companies as well as entrepreneurs in the Carolinas. You will be involved with all areas of engagements including tax planning, consulting and compliance. Manage multiple engagements and direct staff while supervising and developing them into valuable team members. Assist clients in achieving their financial and business goals through innovative thinking, challenging them with ideas and ultimately becoming their trusted business adviser. Knowledge of federal and state partnership, corporate, fiduciary and individual income tax concepts. Ability to research and document complex tax issues for clients. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to function well in a team setting and interact with professionals at all levels. Ability to supervise and train other staff while maintaining multiple client engagements and competing priorities. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in online research services and tax software. Ability to work throughout the year to meet client service needs with overtime required during certain business cycles.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters in tax preferred.
- CPA license in good standing required.
- 3+ years of tax professional experience in public accounting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with a dynamic personality and business acumen.

Salary: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
