Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will own initiatives that maximize the effectiveness of our Talent Acquisition processes and programs including management of immigration as well as contractor compliance and pre-boarding processes. This role reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition and will partner directly with other HR Directors as well as outside counsel and third-party vendors.


Talent Acquisition and Immigration:

  • Serves as a point of contact for hiring leaders and RPO team members on Talent Acquisition needs.
  • Facilitates new leader training on Talent Acquisition processes, including training on iCIMS.
  • Provides weekly Talent Acquisition performance metrics.
  • Partners with RPO leadership on escalations and issue resolution.
  • Responsible for capturing metrics and recruitment activities weekly.
  • Manages immigration functions for caregiver roles.
  • Serves as the primary contact with third party relationships for our international vendors.
  • In partnership with immigration counsel, oversees global immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures on behalf of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees.


Contractor Compliance and On-Boarding Management:

  • Serves as the point of contact for hiring leaders on contractor on-boarding and on-going due diligence processes.
  • Reviews, or coordinates the review of, compliance documents for completeness. Consults with staff as necessary to accurately complete the assessments.
  • Coordinates annual contractor reviews.
  • Ensure processes and documentation comply with the Network and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Ensures all contractor management policies, procedures and reference materials are kept current.
  • Proposes updates to management regarding policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinates and facilitates appropriate contract management training to all appropriate staff across the Network and ensures that expectations are clear.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers. Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business or related field. Experience may be substituted for a degree.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years Talent Acquisition Experience.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
  • 1 year of experience managing immigration, contractor compliance and pre-boarding processes preferred.
