Position: EVS Aide (O.R Tech)

Job Type: Full- Time

Shifts: M-F 3-11:30 PM (some weekends)

We are looking for a EVS Aide (O.R Tech) to join our team. The Environmental Services (EVS) Aide is assigned to keep and maintain an area clean, attractive, safe, and sanitary within the hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors through a systematic application of cleaning procedures.

• Washing and decontaminating equipment as assigned including tubes and their canisters from operating rooms or cardiac procedure rooms according to established procedures and instructions.
• Prompt cleaning of O.R rooms by removing debris and blood contamination using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
• Follows appropriate techniques and precautions necessary for handling and transporting of contaminated surfaces, equipment, soiled linens and trash as defined by policy regarding bloodborne pathogens.
• Cleans floors, walls, ceiling, equipment, grills/filters, overhead or floor tracks, furniture and any other items between each procedure, terminally at the end of day or as needed.
• Requires bending, pushing and pulling on a daily basis.
• May collect hazardous waste and transport it in special closed container for sterilization.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:

• 1-year of Customer Service experience in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment and or
• 1-year of Healthcare Housekeeping, Hotel, or Hospitality experience
• Ability to read and write Basic English.

Must show proof of vaccination!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.04 per hour
