Job description

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician & Event Setup at the Surf Hotel.

Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect and repair/replace as needed all elements of the property, including furnishings, doors, windows, trim, electrical systems, HVAC systems, ice makers and other equipment, etc.
- Comply with all relevant safety and health codes.
- Interact in a clear and positive manner with staff and guests.
- Misc. grounds keeping as needed, such as snow removal, ice mitigation, firewood management, trash and recycling area management, leaf removal, misc cleaning, etc.
- Help set up for concerts and weddings setting up tables, tents, chairs, bistro tables, & the stage (if needed), taking down the arbor, putting away leftover chairs etc.

Requirements:
- Well organized.
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Must have housing in the area and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with little supervision at times and maintain a high level of performance.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Compensation:
- $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience.
- 401k program + employer match
