Monday: 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm

  • Will schedule per operational
needs (19.5 hours max)

Job Summary


This position serves as a resource for customers and is responsible for answering basic questions for Admissions and Records and International Education Program and provides information resource referrals.

Assists professional staff with the planning, processing, and coordination of educational activities.

Essential Functions


65% Triage for the Welcome Desk and International Education. Performs customer service functions; greeting students, answering general questions about the Admissions and Records services. Assists with handing out and helping students apply for International Education admissions applications.

20% - Assists with the planning, coordination, and administration of student service programs including recreational, cultural and educational activities. Collects data on program participation and prepares program reports.

15% - Coordinates and maintains communications with students through different types of communication channels to promote student awareness and responsiveness. Helps prepare, designs and maintains correspondence, reports, presentations, program materials and documentation. Manages the department’s social media accounts.

5% - Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications


High school diploma or the equivalent.

Desired Qualifications


1. Experience working with a diverse population

2. Experience working in clerical/administrative office

3. Experience in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

4. Customer support experience

Special Working Conditions


May required to work at CGCC Williams Campus or be assigned to assist other departments as needed.
