The Position:
Alutiiq Professional Consulting, LLC seeks a talented Training Program Support professional to join our Strategic Development Team. In this role, you will identify and win executable business for Government clients through applying expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity qualification through strategic capture and proposal and development. Applicants must have a comprehensive understanding of current trends and emerging technologies in the Federal market. This is a highly visible position requiring a proven record of success in growing new business and expanding current engagements.
Job Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will have customer organizational and mission insight to leverage Alutiiq, LLC subsidiaries’ mission support capabilities to best meet customer needs and challenges.
- Apply business development expertise and knowledge of live, constructive, and virtual training programs for the federal government.
- Leads capture management activities for complex and technical bids which includes discovering client requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive solutions focused on the clients’ perception of value.
- Delivers winning bids by leading complex negotiations with industry partners to build teams and engineer technical solutions in support of large and complex procurements.
- Analyzes market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, and client assessments necessary for strategic planning efforts to expand opportunity portfolios and pipelines.
- Manages key stakeholder relationships, keeps the business leadership team informed, and advances strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.
- Effectively communicates opportunities and associated considerations to executive leadership via Milestone Reviews and other means to support timely executive decision making.
- Works across multiple service areas and industries to determine teaming strategies and represent the company in a high ethical manner.
- Provides executive level briefings on project status and bid recommendations.
- 5+ years of experience in the direct management of complex solutions, business development, and capture management in the federal contracting market
- 3+ years of experience with multi-discipline solution design across multiple market spaces including program management (both domestic and in-country), conducting needs assessments and monitoring success against program objectives, training coordination, logistics, analysis, and training delivery as well as individuals with specific subject matter expertise in various law enforcement, investigative analysis, and military operations specialties.
- 2+ years of operational Program Management experience
- Ability to synthesize technical content and distill into key messages that will resonate with senior business leaders.
- Experience with strategy design, capability building, and organizational design and change.
- Experience leading matrixed teams in a disciplined best practice framework based on Shipley Associates methodology.
- Experience with Training Program Support business development and presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings, customer/partner calls, and team-based discussions.
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including comprehension, conflict resolution, teamwork, and relationship building skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to cultivate, build and maintain customer relationships, internally and externally, critical to business development.
- Possession of excellent client-ready oral and written communication skills and excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, planning, organizational, and client facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of the US government's acquisition process, the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and Small Business Administration policy.
- Ability to travel as needed.
The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market and other business considerations as permitted by law.
