We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team at a skilled nursing facility. Full time and PRN. $45-$50 per hour based on Long Term Care experince *RESPONSIBLE FOR:* Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. *Requirements* *MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:* Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). *MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:* Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families. Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting.
