Seven Bridges Therapy is hiring an experienced Speech Language Pathologists or a CF at our Walnut Creek location.

Schools: We’ve been there and done that. We’ve experienced the frustration of seeing little progress in our clients because of large caseloads. We’ve felt the disappointment of not having family involved in the weekly therapy sessions to train in carryover activities. We’ve been through the isolation of being the only speech therapist around with no one to lean on. We’ve felt the lack of appreciation for what we do when being assigned to a closet for our therapy room and having limited materials.

Hospitals: Why struggle with time management, not having near enough time for note taking or connecting with your clients and colleagues as you’d like? It’s tough to not have enough sick time or personal time to have that work-life balance.

In the clinic setting at SBT, our caseloads are low because the bulk of what we do is individual therapy, not groups. The goal isn’t to see as many clients as possible. The goal to provide the best possible therapy to each and every client…to get to know each client and what makes him tick. The families and caregivers are at each and every session. They aren’t just given a treatment plan and expected to know what to do all day every day. They are in our sessions (for 5 and under) and don’t just know WHAT we’re doing but they’re learning HOW to address their child’s needs and understanding WHY we’re doing things the way we are.

In our clinics, you are surrounded by speech therapists all day every day. So not only do you have your supervisor to lean on but you have colleagues to lean on, other CFs, veterans, our support team (with schedulers, billers and authorization coordinators) and our entire management team, our CEO, Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor who work daily with all of our therapists to be sure you have everything you need and all of your questions answered immediately.

Our priority is to train and help develop our new therapists to be the best they can be then, while we don’t micromanage anyone, we are there for you in a heartbeat when you need us.

With a goal of helping as many clients and their families as possible in the Bay Area, we also want to have as much fun as possible! Our clinics are relaxed and we focus on being sure you feel comfortable and confident when you start with us. We regularly have lunch ordered in, dinners in the neighborhood, and regular meetings so we can connect on different levels.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
