Job description
Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Sports Marketing, the Gaming Specialist (GS) supports the development of regional electronic sport and Gaming-focused marketing programs. Through events, athletes, and influencers, the GS builds local and regional brand affinity while paying into Red Bull's global strategies.

Athletes and Influencers
Support the SMM and AMM with developing, and nurturing relationships with new athlete talent that ensures we have the best athletes on our roster and sports influencers that increase brand relevance.
Identify locally relevant athletes' stories and help create opportunities to amplify their reach within and beyond the region
Establish a rich network in regional sports scenes to maintain awareness of new trends and opinions leaders
Event Initiatives & Projects
Support the project management and execution of local and national Red Bull ESports Marketing event properties and their BTL activation plans in market
Coordinate regional ESports Marketing resources to bring highest impact with local events
Participate in Red Bull brand activation strategy at supported 3rd party Esports events within the region
Support the Event Marketing Manager and our BU teams with implementing global Red Bull owned events and assist with their regional BTL activations through regional leadership
Support the Athlete Marketing Manager with implementing athlete projects that allow us to activate our Regional, National and even International Esports Athlete roster
Event Car Program
Support with execution of the Event Vehicle program (teaming up with our Event Car Operator)
Partner with third-party workforce and oversee onsite logistics
Evaluate requests and brainstorm on the best use of the assets to ensure highest impact
Collaboration & Discovery
Partner with the SSMM, EMM and AMM to ensure quality execution of all Red Bull owned and supported ESports Marketing events in the region
Influence and contribute to the annual Sports Marketing Business Plan
Identify regional and local scenes that influence brand image with our target consumers
Identify branded and non-branded sports content and stories for our owned and shared media channels
Support the Activation & Communications team to achieve media outcome

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 2+ years of experience in Marketing with a focus on Esports, athletes, and consumers
- A clear understanding on the Red River Region Esports market scenario and the opportunities that it might offer to our brand positioning
- An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
- A history of thoughtful execution of innovative ideas
- Knowledge of and experience identifying different Esports/Gaming trends and scenes on a regional and national level that allow us to reach out to Heavy Esports Enthusiasts and Casual Gamers
- Coordinate collaborative projects from brainstorming through execution
- Some budget management or coordination
- An understanding of marketing communications and storytelling with an emphasis on content in the digital and social media landscape
- The ability to write, present, and share ideas articulately
- A history of excelling in collaborative and creative environments
- Bachelor's degree
- English
