Excel Prep is a day school for K-3 grad students who are neurodiverse such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language challenges, executive functioning challenges, and autism. Our mission is to provide a nurturing academic setting with concentrated focus on I’m providing cognitive-linguistic abilities. We center direct instruction, instructional design, and precision teaching as hallmarks of our instruction. We believe that instruction is data driven and founded in education research.
Through our instructional program, students receive daily reading, writing, math, and speech-language blocks. At Excel Prep, we believe that students with specific learning challenges will benefit from smaller group and explicit instruction.
- Grade Level teachers lead and work collaboratively with content focus interventionists to to customize the full day learning experience for Excel Prep students. Grade Level teachers prepare IEPs, review and analyze student learning progress. Grade level teachers deliver instruction in groups and 1:1 by subject areas using direct instruction. Grade level teachers benefit from education, training, and mentorship in direct instruction throughout the academic year.
- Daily prep time is included in the teacher schedule.

- Computer savvy - comfortable with google suite, with learning technologies,
- Creative and flexible - open to learning how to teach students with learning differences
- Can develop, instruct , and model instructional best practices within student plans
- Understands the importance of ongoing data collection and analysis
- Collaborative in communication, planning, and writing
- Experienced in data collection, analysis

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Valid state teaching license + certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- MA in Behavior Science, Applied Behavior Analysis
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $68,168.85 - $71,189.16 per year
