Job description

This unique, hands-on career opportunity that offers the chance to train in a new trade, as well as on-going learning opportunities in a modern 21st century agricultural processing facility that is the only one of its kind in Michigan. Technicians are trained on site to work with industry leading technology, while being challenged with running the plant with peak efficiency and consistency.

Rate: $24.00 with a $2.00 shift premium

Hours: 4:50 PM to 5AM on a 2-2-3 rotation

Week 1#: Work on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday

Week 2#: Work on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with operating menu driven programs and a computer mouse.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proven problem solving skills and abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to complete a respiratory fit test (initially, then annually)
• Ability to work with heights up to and including 225 feet
