This Software Quality Engineering will be providing Software Quality Assurance to the SNC Business Area of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation and Security (IAS).

The SQE will support and monitor program performance and capability to meet customer requirements, internal requirements, and industry standards.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Report to the Quality Department on different programs' status, improvements, and risks.
Coordinate with System Engineers, Development Ops teams, and software test groups to ensure programs are working efficiently and effectively to internal and external requirements.
Participate in Agile activities including Scrums
Support program milestone reviews
Facilitate support to program specific root cause corrective action events

Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
6+ years’ experience in software testing methodologies, techniques and approaches for manual and automated testing
Familiarity with a wide-variety of languages and development environments
Experience with software development life cycles
Experience with AS9100, ISO9001, and other software industry standards
Experienced with basic networking, servers, network storage devices and computers. Capable of installing and configuring source and process server (subversion, bugzilla, doors, etc)
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:
DO178C experience
IEEE 730 experience
Experience with both hardware-level interfaces and user interfaces
Experience writing software requirements and translating software test plans for System Engineering and Development Improvement
Proven credible experience in software intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers
Experience in software development
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team building and professional networking skills

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38
