Role and Responsibilities

Under direction, as part of our award winning program, 1-833-RealFix, performs various field and office work involved in aiding those with Opioid Use Disorder to obtain Medication Assisted Treatment faster, easier, and cheaper than they can obtain illicit opioids. Will assist clients with issues related to recovery and do other related work necessary to support scaling the program.

Examples of Work

· Answers calls to 1-833-RealFix, explains the benefits of Medication Assisted Treatment, our vetting of quality providers and how we connect patients with those quality providers.

· Refers patients requesting immediate treatment to an MAT teledoc and coordinates the activities of the teledoc, pharmacy and courier who will deliver the medication in an expedited manner.

· Refers patients requiring in-patient treatment to treatment centers, using the information gathered regarding those treatment programs, and coordinates the services of outreach workers and transportation services in transporting the client to treatment.

· Maintains contact with RealFix clients regarding continued access to rehabilitation and related services.

· Contacts and maintains cooperative relationships with private and other public social agencies.

Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or a High School Diploma and training as a Peer Recover Specialist.

Experience: One (1) year of experience in social case work (or comparable academic or clinical experience), which shall have involved the responsibility for gathering and analyzing social information from clients, the determination of their needs, and the planning and administration of treatment plans geared toward the needs of individual clients.
License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather

than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Knowledge & Abilities

· Knowledge of psychological and social problems of chemically dependent persons.

· Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder.

· Knowledge of signs and symptoms of addiction.

· Knowledge of the methods used to gather and analyze information.

· Knowledge of the public and private resources providing rehabilitation to substance abusers.

· Ability to organize assigned social work and develop effective work methods.

· Ability to work harmoniously with associates, families, individuals, and social organizations.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
