Job Summary
Boston Children's Hospital Neighborhood Partnerships (BCHNP) is a school-based behavioral health program. Our purpose is to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral health and well-being of students, caregivers, and staff in partnership with Boston Public Schools (BPS). In partnership with BPS for 21 years, BCHNP clinicians work onsite in partner schools as integrated members of the school communities. This integration allows for our clinicians to understand the unique ecology of each school and to meet the needs of the school community. Our clinicians build collaborative relationships with school staff, students, families and community partners to provide a full and flexible spectrum of equitable and culturally responsive behavioral health services that are tailored to the school community and student need.
BCHNP has an opening for a 40-hour/full-time licensed (LCSW or LICSW) social worker. The position will be on-site at Boston Arts Academy (BAA), a public visual and performing arts high school. Four days per week will be spent at BAA, and Wednesdays will be spent at the hospital for BCHNP staff meetings and training.

This BCH Neighborhood Partnerships Social Worker (BCHNP) will be responsible for:
- Providing a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services through a tiered approach in collaboration with partnering school, school staff, and families. These services may include individual therapy, targeted groups, crisis management, care coordination, consultation, professional development, and capacity building.
- Providing a holistic approach to care when partnering and communicating with families, the school community and essential adults that is clinically and developmentally attuned to the young person and their system of support.
- Attending and participating in meetings, including staff meetings, wellness team, IEP, reentry, and
family meetings. - Completing regular documentation of services to adapt and improve our work through the collection of needs assessment data, pre- and post-surveys, satisfaction surveys, and progress monitoring data.
- Meeting with BCHNP team members to provide peer consultation, support, training, resources, and shared learning across school sites.

To qualify, you must have:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, LCSW or LICSW is required
- Experience working in the field of school-based behavioral health, and experience working in diverse, urban school settings is highly preferred
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to effectively facilitate groups and classroom interventions
- Possess knowledge about multi-tiered systems of support within a school setting preferred
- Experience providing clinical and program consultation services about behavioral health and social emotional learning to school staff and/or school-based behavioral health clinicians preferred
- An understanding of the arts and a background in expressive arts therapy would be helpful but is not required
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
