Chase Staffing is looking for Shipping Clerks 1st shift $13.50/HR in Roanoke!!

Packaging product for shipment (use of foam, bubble wrap and cardboard). Administrative tasks include the use of Microsoft programs such as EXCEL and WORD, in addition to email and the shipping carrier programs. When not busy in shipping, the candidate will help out in other areas. The right candidate will have a positive attitude with strong & effective communication skills enabling them to work successfully with production, accounting, program managers & customers.

Requirements:

Positive attitude

Able to multitask

Strong communication skills able to communicate with all department personnel

Able to count accurately

Commitment to on time and quality shipping goals

Detail oriented read and follow paperwork, fill out paperwork completely and legibly

Lifting and/or carrying involved up to 50 pounds.

Computer experience with EXCEL, WORD and e-mail

Good memory able to retain information

Preferred but not required:

Manufacturing experience helpful but not necessary

Experience in shipping working with the different types of couriers like UPs, FedEx, for example

Forklift certification/willing to obtain certification
