• Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, SPFx, SharePoint REST API, and CSR
• Expertise integrating SharePoint Online with third party applications.
• Expertise with web application frameworks and template-based systems
• Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service, and other service applications
• Experience migrating SharePoint from on-premise to SharePoint online.
• Experience using agile/scrum development practices.
• Experience troubleshooting software-related issues.
• Knowledge of programming best practices and web standards, including accessibility and usability.
• Front end development experience, including with web application frameworks and token/template-based systems (Bootstrap, USWDS, Material, etc.)
• Experience with cloud application architecture
• Expertise with user-centered design techniques and information architecture
• Experience implementing features of M365 security model, including identity management and access control, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), and zero trust concepts.
• Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, and responsive web page design with Bootstrap, USWDS, or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Board IT standards or industry best practice, as directed.
• Build custom interactive SharePoint online applications.
• Migrate on-prem SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online.
• Apply knowledge and creativity to a wide variety of assignments, understanding of the interrelationships among systems, thought leadership, people leadership, communication skills, and learning agility.

Education/Experience/Certification:

• At least 10 years of related experience, including building custom interactive SharePoint Online applications and website leveraging: SharePoint Framework (SPFX), Power Automate and Power Apps, SharePoint REST API, Client-Side Rendering (CSR), and JSON.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
