We are currently looking for a Service Technician for our production Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to assist in all aspects of the service. This is not a travel or remote position. All ventilators are serviced and repaired in office in Salt Lake City.
Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing equipment.
- Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
- Answering telephone inquiries from Hospitals.
- Communicate with customers, team members, engineers, or management to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress.
- Teaching monthly/quarterly Service School with other team members.
- Following procedures, documenting repairs and creating equipment service reports
- Record information and results about product or electronic performance by detailing testing methods, documenting possible issues and listing part specifications.
Job skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics, Science Technology, or equivalent experience in electronics, service, or related field is desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Electronics.
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in a long-term company commitment.
- Familiarity with FDA, ISO or other highly regulated environment is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
