We provide inspired infant care with our revolutionary Life Pulse® Ventilator, the first high-frequency ventilator ever approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for clinical use (1988). .

We are currently looking for a Service Technician for our production Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to assist in all aspects of the service. This is not a travel or remote position. All ventilators are serviced and repaired in office in Salt Lake City.

Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
• Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing equipment.
• Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
• Answering telephone inquiries from Hospitals.
• Communicate with customers, team members, engineers, or management to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress.
• Teaching monthly/quarterly Service School with other team members.
• Following procedures, documenting repairs and creating equipment service reports
• Record information and results about product or electronic performance by detailing testing methods, documenting possible issues and listing part specifications.

Job skills and qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electronics, Science Technology, or equivalent experience in electronics, service, or related field is desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Electronics.
• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to work independently
• Interest in a long-term company commitment.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO or other highly regulated environment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
