Responsibilities:- Obtain and perform analysis of data for auditable entity, develop audit program to address identified risks, prepare the audit planning document, conduct appropriate audit tests, and ensure that testing is completed as scheduled and documented in compliance with IIA and departmental standards.
- Perform integrated audits, including compliance, financial, information technology, and operational components, as appropriate.
- Report audit findings and work with business management to facilitate resolution of the identified issues.
- Draft the audit report.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and proper remediation.
- Perform special reviews, as requested by senior management.
- Assist Internal Audit management in the development of the Annual Audit Plan including –analyzing survey results and participating in interviews.
- Must comply with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics established by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
- Approximately 15% domestic travel.
- Prepare various reports.
- Makes recommendations to improve audit practices and processes.
THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. MUST BE WILLING TO COME INTO THE OFFICE 2 OR 3 DAYS A WEEK
Qualifications:
Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) is preferred.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $83,000.00/year to $100,000.00/year. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
