CIVIL ENGINEERS

MHS is seeking professional engineers with Kansas/Missouri license to perform duties on civil engineering projects. Ideal candidates will have 7 to 15 years of experience in designing public infrastructure projects. Candidates should have an advanced understanding of civil design and construction. We are looking for individuals that possess creativity and imagination with a good sense of intuition in making the best design solutions with our clients.

Primary duties will be working with a team in the design of transportation and storm water projects. Other opportunities may include design of water and sewer interceptor lines, park and recreation facilities, master planning, and permitting of improvements for our public and private sector clients.

While this position is a technical role, it will have many opportunities for growth and diversity of duties for the right candidate. These opportunities may include business development, client management, and mentoring of junior staff.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess the following:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with PE license in Kansas and/or Missouri, or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong organization and planning skills are required to manage projects without compromising quality.
• Excellent written, verbal, oral, and presentation skills to effectively communicate project details with professional staff and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Knowledge of Civil 3D is preferred.
• The selected candidate must be able to work in the United States immediately.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
