The Opportunity

The Operations Analyst role have primary responsibility for account level execution and review of the core operations for Ally Credit Card. The position will have responsibility across all of the operational components of the card life cycle including customer service, fraud/claims, account management, and collections. The role will provide oversight and customer level reviews for all needs and goals relating to the operational areas. This role will require strong attention to detail, analytical ability and relationship management skills to deliver strong business results and a world class customer experience for our cardholders.

The Work Itself

  • Manage all customer escalations and account level reviews provided from all vendors; provide process improvement suggestions and partner feedback, as needed
  • Provide account and customer level data and reporting assistance to strategy, risk, compliance, and marketing teams
  • Perform account level filings supporting recovery operations
  • Proactively identify/execute process improvement initiatives to resolve redundancy and streamline work for teams within Ally Card
  • Observe trends and make recommendations for improving work processes, reducing errors, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations on efficiencies that can be gained based on the current set of circumstances.
  • Work with business partners and vendors, provide guidance on enhancements to resolve opportunities identified. Ensure timely, accurate solutions.
  • Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years’ credit card experience, preferably in call center or operations environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications.
  • Ability to manage simultaneously occurring tasks, projects, and programs in a deadline-driven business environment.
  • Ability to work independently to consistently meet expected deadlines.
  • High degree of initiative with strong drive for results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze, identify and define process improvements.
