This position is located at a Construction Site, and the Security Officer will be responsible for observing
and patrolling the construction site to prevent theft of construction material; monitor and control access to
the construction site; detect any suspicious activity on the site and report such activities to a Shift
Supervisor This position will provide strong security presence and visibility on the construction site and
assist constructors, subcontractors, vendors, and visitors with safety, security and customer services. KEY
DUTIES 1. Will maintain a Security Post or security check point and deal directly with the construction
workers and guests coming to the site. 2. Will grant authorized visitors access and prevent unauthorized
persons from entering the site 3. Will provide directions to visitors and/or the public. 4. Will prevent
property damage; and if any property damage occurs, the Security Officer will document such occurrence
and report immediately to the Shift Supervisor. 5. Will conduct regular foot patrols and scan checkpoints
around the outer perimeter of the site and watch for suspicious activities and/or unsafe conditions on the
site. 6. Other duties as shall be assigned by the Shift Supervisor. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 1.
Prior security experience is preferred. 2. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED). 3.
Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with visitors, contractors, and
fellow security officers. 4. Applicants must have their own transportation and a working smart phone.
We have availability for 3 different shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am
