Job description
A seamstress position is open that involves following patterns to fabricate custom wall coverings. Knowledge of scale, wall measurement and fabric drape is a huge plus, but not essential. The person filling this position must be able to work quickly with both hands, as well as read patterns, cut fabric, sew seams together and be able to finish all edges. For this position we are looking for someone who has experience working with delicate fabrics, such as silk and chiffon as well as upholstery.
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow patterns.
- Cut fabric according to a pattern.
- Iron fabrics
- Operate sewing machine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
