Overview:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum 6 month’s experience in the surgical scrub role setting.
Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic technique in the surgical setting. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, computer and order entry skills. Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast paced environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned.
Equipment: Computers, office equipment
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.

JOB SUMMARY
The role encompasses assisting with the patient care in the surgical setting through the provision of technical assistance to the surgical team members and secretarial support for the department.
