We are currently looking for a highly motivated, determined, well-spoken and experienced Sales Manager who understands the meaning of 'hunting' to proudly sell our Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites located in Lafayette, IN.
Job Summary
-
To sell hotel room nights through direct client contact; Implement hotel-level tactical sales plans as assigned.

To develop and maintain good relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups and companies.

To promote new business and increase sales for the hotel.

Responsible for sales calls and prospecting new business.

Handling client site inspections and client entertainment.

Negotiating contracts and Sales Pro activities.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year sales experience required. Hotel sales experience is a plus. Must have negotiation skills, and ability to achieve/meet revenue goals. An excellent communicator both orally and in writing. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Reliable transportation needed.Abilities and Desired Behaviors
