Based in Massachusetts, Bonhams Skinner holds around 80 sales a year in 20 collecting categories including Americana, Fine Art and Collectibles, and Wine, and ranging from fine violins to contemporary paintings.
About the Role
Bonhams Skinner is seeking a Retoucher to join our Marlborough, MA based Photography department. Reporting to the Lead Photographer, you will perform all file management, execute post-production Photoshop work and upload images to company database.
Responsibilities
- Retouch images and review photographs for quality & consistency
- Send and receive files to third party for processing
- Process and manage files, upload files to company database
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Operate copy stand to digitise 2D art
In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
- Be a proactive self-starter able to manage a high-volume workflow from many different departments simultaneously.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency with Mac platforms and file management systems
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and adhere to fast deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
